Trucking respect
I have a greater respect for truckers now. I spent the day Saturday driving to Toronto with a heavy load in tow. The drive down was a transmission jolting, momentum monitoring, endeavour that I tried to pass off as easily as I could. Driving all that time trying to maintain speed you really start to miss that cruise control. It was the ride back that had me really going bonkers.

Poor CSRs
I just got really irate with a poor Rogers CSR. The problem really being my fault. I some how screwed up the direct payment to them last month so my account was overdue. I think what happened is I paid $1.28 instead of $128. Anyway that doesn’t matter. Over the last couple of days I’ve been getting these recordings telling me to call Rogers. So when todays automated call came through...

My bank account was just poached for tuition. Slight sting to that, not quite as bad a car repairs but still.

I just turned on my malfunctioning coffee maker with a very Fonz like hit to the control panel. I’m feeling real manly right now.
Fustration
I can get no help from my university with my course selection. All of my courses are over lapping in the same time slot. No one seems to understand that, no I can’t take another course, no there is no other section or lab to get into, no it’s not offered in the winter semester and NO I CAN’T TAKE IT NEXT YEAR BECAUSE I SHOULD BE A GRAD STUDENT BY THEN.

Well not really as I have an overlapping class but I did weasle into one class that had a huge waiting list. Yay me! No extra year! No extra year!
The closer it we get to the beginning of classes the further away I get from being properly registered.

I’m pleased with my Mac. It’s not powerful, even though it’s sporting more horsepower then my XP machine it really doesn’t come close to performance. It’s sleek, portable and does what I need it to do. I’m enjoying some of the OSX features but I can’t say that I wet my pants over them.
