I have two guys working in my apartment right now. Three if you count my landlord. While I appreciated that they’re fixing up the heating system for the coming winter, I’m slightly annoyed that they entered my apartment without notice. My landlord is a nice guy but by absenteeism is a bit of a slum lord. I’ve complained about insects and rodents as well as my ceiling and walls leaking and he’s done little about it. Well he stopped the leak but never repaired the damage. So now my walls and ceiling have large portions of missing paint.
I used to fairly cortial with him because he is a likeable person. I did a few things around the building like mow the lawn, rake the yard, clean up any trash I found. Now I don’t lift a finger cause he could care less so why should I.
